Secondhand smoke causes about 3,000 deaths each year from lung cancer in people who don't smoke.

Facts about Second-Hand Smoke:

• 30 minutes of exposure to secondhand smoke will double risk of heart attack for 48 hours

• More than 4/5 of the smoke from a cigarette ends up in the room, not in the smoker!

• There are over 50 chemicals in secondhand smoke that have been identified as hazardous by federal agencies.
