Heidi is the president and CEO of Kindred Hospital in Tucson and the current Chair of the American Lung Association in Arizona's Tucson Board of Directors. She is a registered nurse and holds master of science & master of business administration degrees. She has been involved with the American Lung Association for the past 4 years. Alan Barreuther, PharmD.
Alan, a pharmacist, is another long-time volunteer of the American Lung Association and is the Medical Science Liaison for Cephalon, Inc. He is our unofficial "official" phtotgrapher and has chronicled many of our events over the years.
Patrick Butler
Patrick is the newest member of our Board of Directors. He is a retired attorney who has suffered with asthma his entire life. He currently volunteers as an instructor in our Open Airways in the Schools Program where he teaches youngsters with asthma how to better manage their disease.
Walter Davis
Walter is the CEO of the Carondelet Medical Group where he oversees all of Carondelet's physician practices. Walter served as the Corporate Chair of the 2008 Asthma Walk. Judy-Drickey Prohow
Judy is an attorney with expertise is in the fair-housing arena. She is also an author and writes about fair housing law. She has been an invaluable fundraising volunteer. This year Judy is also assisting us with on-line promotional networking. www.Civilrightaz.com
Michael Gammie, RCP
Michael has been a member of the Board of Directors of the American Lung Association for the past three years. A respiratory therapist, Michael currently works with Dependable Health Services. Michael lends his expertise on the Respiratory Rally Planning Committee and has been involved with our annual Walk. www.dependablehealth.com
Matt Heinz, MD
Matt, a physician at Tucson Medical Center, is a newly elected representative to the State Legislature from District 29 as well as a newly elected member of the American Lung Association Board of Directors.
Matt Hountz
Matt, a transplant from Atlanta, is the owner/operator of the Chick-fil-A at El Con mall. Matt became involved with the American Lung Association soon after Chick-fil-A opened, becoming our in-kind sponsor for the 2008 & 2009 Walks. Larry Johnson
Larry is another newcomer to our Board of Directors and recently won the "Rookie of the Year" Award. Larry & his staff were involved in the promotion of the 2009 Walk and sponsored one of the top fundraising Walk Teams. He also participated in the 2008 and 2009 Respiratory Rallies. Keith Kaback, MD
Keith Kaback is an emergency room physician at Tucson Medical Center and a long-time Board member. He recently completed a 3-year term as Board Chair. Keith was front & center in working for the passage of Propostion 200, which banned smoking in restaurants and other public places. He also serves as the official media liaison for the organization.
Kristyn Meza
Kristyn works for Tucson Newspapers, Inc., and has been a Board member for three years. She served on our 2009 Walk for Life & Breath Leadership Committee and participated in our annual Walk Kick-Off Luncheon. www.tucson.com

Twila Strauss
Twila is a Clinical Sales Consultant for Phadia. She has been on the American Lung Association Board for three years and cites her Mother's passing from COPD as her motivation for involvement. She participated in the Respiratory Rally for the past several years, served on the 2009 Walk for Life & Breath Leadership Committee, and has done much to promote Camp Not-a-Wheeze among the pediatric pulmonologists is our community. www.phadia.com
