
Donating Your Watercraft is
Easy, Convenient and Fast!
Thank you for your interest in donating your watercraft to the American Lung Association of Arizona. Your donation will help us provide services to people with lung disease, help us save lives with our educational programs, and will help fund local and national research projects. We work hard to secure the highest bid possible - this benefits both you as the donor, and the Lung Association’s local programs. Click here for instructions on how to donate your watercraft.
Once we receive your trailer title and watercraft certificate signed over to the American Lung Association of Arizona we will make arrangements to have your watercraft towed. At that time, please remove your license plate from the trailer. The watercraft you donate will be sold as is at an auction. After the vehicle is sold, 100% of the proceeds (less minimal towing and auction fees) will be sent to the American Lung Association of Arizona.
In most cases, watercraft donors may take a charitable contribution deduction on their income tax return to the extent allowed by law, for gifts of property to the American Lung Association of Arizona. A receipt for the donated watercraft’s gross selling price will be mailed to you. This selling price is the value that is tax deductible. If the gross selling price is less than $500, you may deduct the fair market value up to $500.
