Asthma in Arizona
Arizona has one of the highest asthma rates in the country.
In 2007, an estimated 548,000 Arizonans identified themselves as having asthma.
Seventy-two Arizonans died from Asthma in 2003.
Arizona Hospitalization Discharge Data (2003) show a total of 32,171 asthma-related hospitalizations for Arizona residents.
